As part of our commitment to diversity in the workplace, the Regina Police Service is looking for Indigenous/Diversity Summer Students foremployment from May to August 2026. Priority in hiring will be given to qualified Indigenous persons (First Nations, Metis, and Inuit) and Diversity candidates who self-identify as such in the application process. We encourage members of all equity-seeking groups to self-identify within their letter of intent in their application.

 

Applications will be accepted for employment in our Evidence Management Unit– responsibilities may include:

 

• bicycle and found property pickup, inventory updates and property movement for disposal.

 

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

 

• Be registered as a full-time student of a post-secondary school
• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be willing to undergo background and security screening including a pre-employment polygraph
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license
