Indigenous/Diversity Summer Student Program 2026: Information Technology Unit

Key Responsibilities

As part of our commitment to diversity in the workplace, the Regina Police Service is looking for Indigenous/Diversity Summer Students for employment from May to August 2026. Priority in hiring will be given to qualified Indigenous persons (First Nations, Metis, and Inuit) and Diversity candidates who self-identify as such in the application process. We encourage members of all equity-seeking groups to self-identify within their letter of intent in their application.

Applications will be accepted for employment in our Information Technology Unit – responsibilities may include:

• computer networking, some computer programming, troubleshooting, computer support, and other duties as required.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Be registered as a full-time student of a post-secondary school
• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be willing to undergo background and security screening including a pre-employment polygraph
• Valid driver's license
